Since 1999, the founders of Level 9 Television Networks have known that the future of content delivery in general and broadcasting, in particular, lay with the Internet. The future has arrived and, as exciting as it is now, we have only begun to scratch the surface of what soon will be available and to see the importance of the transformation taking place before us.
Consumers no longer have to wait for the daily paper or their magazine subscription to arrive on their doorstep. Nor are they constrained to watch news and entertainment programs sitting in front of their televisions. Our viewers want important, relevant and entertaining content available to them on whatever connected device they may own or choose.
Traditional broadcasting and how audiences around the world receive broadcast content, whether it is radio or television has changed. It's not "about to change", "changing soon" or any other euphemism that traditional broadcasting entities would have consumers believe. The "change" has already occurred.
The truly exciting part, at least for us, is that traditional broadcasters and content distributors are still holding firm to their outdated, legacy delivery methods. Traditional content distributors are trying desperately to hold on to subscribers and watching their base slowly, but surely and gaining momentum, slipping away.
Consumers, our audience, around the world now know that they no longer need to purchase an expensive programming package from a cable or satellite provider to have access to information and entertainment and to receive it on the devices they choose.
Some networks allow their programming to be viewed on connected devices if only the viewer will continue to subscribe to a programming package offered by a "participating provider". Participating Provider of course translates to; those companies, cable and satellite, that funnel billions of dollars each year to the networks based upon the number of subscribers the providers / distributors have.
Our audience is smarter than that. They can see through the gimmicks and last ditch efforts of the networks and the content distributors to keep themselves relevant.
The only real question remaining for them is how long can the currently entrenched traditional broadcaster or delivery platform, cable and satellite providers, survive. We believe that traditional broadcasters and their delivery methods will be unrecognizable in the not so distant future.
Level 9 Television Networks continues to invest heavily in the lastest technological advancements. Software and hardware additions and upgrades are an almost daily occurrence.
We are working diligently to acquire existing programming and to develop, produce and deliver our own programming for our expanding audience base around the world.
